Lu'um Recubrimientos nace de la inquietud por conservar la elaboración tradicional de mosaicos de concreto y tiene como principal inspiración la vasta y fascinante variedad de iconografía que México posee. Cada pieza interpreta alguna región en particular: Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero, Yucatán y Chihuahua, son solo algunas de las fuentes que Lu'um propone para el goce de su manufactura.
La producción de los mosaicos mimetiza el procedimiento artesanal donde cada paso contribuye a su calidad excepcional; el armado del molde, la mezcla del concreto con los pigmentos, el vaciado y el prensado manual. El proceso y materiales brindan a cada pieza la durabilidad que le caracteriza, permitiendo a los mosaicos usarse en espacios interiores o exteriores.

Lu'um Recubrimientos is born of the concern to preserve the traditional elaboration of concrete tiles, its main inspiration comes from the wide and admirable collection of iconography that Mexico has. Each piece interprets a particular design of some region of this vast country. Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero, Chihuahua, are just some of the sources that Lu'um proposes for the enjoyment of its manufacture.
The production of the tiles is a handmade work, where each step is decisive for its exceptional quality; the assembly of the mold, the mixing of the concrete with pigments, the emptying and the manual pressing. The process and materials give each piece the durability that characterizes it, making them suitable for both interior and exterior spaces.
